Basketball season is ongoing and our soccer and wrestling teams are also in action. The baseball and softball teams will soon start their seasons.

SUPPORT OUR ALL OF OUR PANTHER ATHLETES by becoming a member of the FRHS Athletic Booster Club. Yearly memberships begin at $10 for senior citizens and $15 for families. (For 2011-12 senior athletes to be eligible for consideration for one of the $1,000 scholarships presented by the FRHS Booster Club at the end of the school year, the parents/guardians must be active members in the booster club.) The FRHS Athletic Booster Club supports every Boys and Girls athlete in every sport at our school. Inquire about membership at the spirit wear table at VARSITY home games at KISD stadium, or at the concession stand during any Junior Varsity or Freshman game on Fossil Ridge High School campus. SHOW YOUR PANTHER PRIDE by purchasing a FRHS T-shirt and/or cap during home games.

Information about the NCAA Eligibility Center and the NCAA Clearinghouse

The NCAA or the National Collegiate Athletic Association is the governing body of most College Sport.

Your first step towards an Athletic Scholarship is registering with the NCAA Clearinghouse.

If you want to participate in Division I or II athletics as a freshman, you must first register and be certified by the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse. Refer to the NCAA Academic Eligibility section to determine the initial-eligibility standards that apply to you.
